There are many options available for pet owners to obtain their new family member. We strongly recommend dealing with Responsible and Reputable Breeders. Another option is to contact the local shelter or rescue organization. Many of these animals find their way into a shelter or rescue through no fault of their own and can become wonderful family pets. Many large scale breeders or “Puppy Mills” are the root cause of many animals being euthanized each year. It is important to research where your new pet is coming from. FATS vs. CARBOHYDRATES – AN ENERGY PERSPECTIVE
When it comes to dealing with fat, a dogs’ metabolism is much more effective than the human metabolism. And while fats and carbohydrates can both provide energy, they function very differently in the body of a dog or cat.
